When to bring these sheets out
In spring, a child meets for real what they are coloring. A ladybug found on a leaf in the morning makes the afternoon’s sheet far more interesting.
The best moment is still coming back from the park, when everyone needs to come down a notch before dinner. Meadows and flowers offer large green surfaces: they fill in fast and ask for no precision at all.
Two colors are enough to carry a whole season — a light green for the grass, a clear yellow for the background. The rest can stay white: in spring, a pale page is truer than a saturated one.
