A wagon ride

The unicorn, in its harness, pulls a little wooden wagon with spoked wheels. Sitting inside, the ladybug smiles, delighted with the ride. The unicorn walks along calmly, one leg raised, smiling too.

Among the tall flowers

They stroll among four big flowers, as tall as trees, with wide leaves. A butterfly flutters above, clovers and little flowers grow in the grass, and sparkles shine in the air.

The harness and the wheels

At six, children can take care over the details: the harness straps, the wheel spokes, the boards of the wagon, the dots in the centers of the flowers. The big flowers offer nice areas to try out gradients, from the center to the edge of the petals.

Giant flowers

The two flowers at the top can become sunflowers, yellow with brown centers. The ones at the bottom can be pink or purple. The wagon takes a wood brown, the wheels a bright red, and the ladybug its red with black spots.

A word for the grown-up: make a little wagon together from an empty matchbox, four bottle caps for wheels and two straws for axles. At six, your child can do almost all of it, then pull it along on a string.
