Sitting among the tulips
A little unicorn sits in the grass, surrounded by tall tulips. It laughs heartily, its cheeks pink. On its head, a crown of two tulips and a star circles its horn. Above it, a rainbow links two clouds.
Spring friends
On the left, a little bunny with long ears waves a paw at it; on the right, a chick looks on. The sun smiles, two butterflies flutter by, and clovers and little flowers dot the grass. It is spring, at its very sweetest.
Tall tulips
The tulips are big shapes, with clearly separated petals and long leaves: easy to color at four. The unicorn in the middle sits up straight. The little flowers and clovers in the grass take a bit more precision.
A bouquet of colors
Each tulip can have its own color: red, yellow, pink, purple, orange, like a real tulip field. The chick gets colored yellow, the bunny gray or beige. The rainbow and the sun complete the page, up at the top.
A word for the grown-up: in the fall, plant a tulip bulb in a pot with your child, pointy end up, and leave the pot outside. In the spring, the tulip pops up: the wait is long, but the surprise is worth it.
