Splash in the puddle
Wearing four buckled rain boots, the little unicorn leaps into a puddle, and water splashes all around. Its eyes sparkle with stars and its curly mane flies in the wind: it is laughing. Above it, a rainbow links two clouds that are letting a few drops fall.
Spring in the rain
A duckling has stopped at the edge of the puddle to watch. Three butterflies flutter by, a ladybug has landed on a flower, and branches of cherry blossoms reach into both top corners. Tulips, daisies and clovers grow in the grass: it is a spring shower.
The unicorn mid-leap
The unicorn in the middle is one big round shape, easy to color at four. The boots get colored separately, with their buckles. The flowers, the branches and the splashes are smaller: you can save them for last.
Colorful boots
The boots can be yellow, red or polka-dotted, like real rain boots. The duckling gets colored yellow, with an orange bill. The cherry blossoms take a pale pink, and the rainbow its four bright bands.
A word for the grown-up: play a guessing game with your bodies: your child leaps like the unicorn, waddles like the duckling or flutters like the butterfly, and you guess the animal. Then switch roles.
