A little nap

Lying on a big cloud, the unicorn has fallen asleep, eyes closed, with a little smile. On the tip of its nose, a tiny ladybug is asleep too. The unicorn doesn’t move, so as not to wake it.

The moon keeps watch

In the sky, a crescent moon closes its eyes, asleep in turn. Stars and little clouds surround it. The unicorn’s tail is dotted with stars. Everything is soft and quiet.

For toddlers

From age two, this page is easy to color: the cloud is one big round shape, so is the unicorn, and the line is thick. It doesn’t matter if the crayon goes over the lines: at that age, it is all about discovering colors.

Nap-time colors

The cloud can stay white or take a very pale blue. The ladybug gets colored red, with its black spots. The moon and stars take yellow, and the unicorn your child’s favorite color.

A word for the grown-up: with a toddler, point to the nose in the picture where the ladybug is sleeping, then the closed eyes, then the ear. Then ask them to point to their own. Naming the parts of the face is one of the very first word games.
