Off for a ride

Standing on a scooter, the unicorn holds the handlebar with both hooves. It wears a helmet, buckled under its chin, with its horn and ears poking out. Behind it, the ladybug, in a helmet too, antennae sticking out, holds on to its friend and laughs out loud.

The bell

On the handlebar, a little bell is ready to ring. The two friends are smiling: the ride is a pleasure they share. No background, just the scooter and its two riders, inside the frame decorated with stars, clouds and hearts.

Nice round wheels

The two big wheels, the handlebar and the deck are simple shapes, easy to color at four. The unicorn and the ladybug are big and clearly drawn. Only the small details, like the bell or the helmet straps, take a little more precision.

Matching helmets

The two helmets can be the same color, like a team, or each its own. The scooter takes a bright color, with black or gray wheels. The ladybug’s shell stays red, with its black spots.

A word for the grown-up: point out the bell in the picture, and teach your child to use their own, on a scooter or a bike: a quick ring before passing someone, then a “thank you” on the way by. Good manners work on the sidewalk too.
