Cheek to cheek
The mother unicorn bends her head toward her little one, and they snuggle cheek to cheek, eyes closed, with the same smile. Of the mom, we see only her head and neck, with her long mane. The little one sits in the grass, its tail curled beside it.
Two flower crowns
Both wear a crown of flowers and leaves set between their ears, around the horn. The mom’s is the bigger one. In the grass around them grow little flowers, tulips and tufts of grass: it is spring.
Big calm spaces
The mom’s face, her neck and the little one’s body are big spaces, easy to color at four. The crowns take more care, with their little flowers and leaves packed close together: you color them flower by flower.
A bouquet of colors
Each flower in the crowns can have its own color, and the leaves green. The manes take pink, purple or pale yellow. The little flowers in the grass pick up the colors of the crowns, linking the top and the bottom of the picture.
A word for the grown-up: teach your child all kinds of kisses: the Eskimo kiss, nose to nose, the butterfly kiss, fluttering your eyelashes against a cheek, and the cheek-to-cheek cuddle of the two unicorns. At bedtime, they choose which one they want.
