What this age asks of a sheet
The busiest sheets on the site — a whole bedroom, a market, a stage, with dozens of small things to fill in. You don’t finish them in one go, and that is what makes them worth it at this age. If your child finishes them too fast, the answer isn’t harder drawings — it’s giving them something else to do with the same sheet: fill the backgrounds with patterns, invent the scenery around the drawing, write the story on the back.

A word for the grown-up
Ask them to add five things that aren’t in the drawing, in pencil, before coloring. The sheet becomes theirs, and they spend twice as long on it.
