Dressed as a unicorn
This girl has dressed up as a unicorn from head to toe. On her hair, a headband carries a twisted horn and two ears tied with ribbons; her pigtails are dotted with stars and hearts and held by a barrette. Her puff-sleeved dress has a starry bow at the collar and a big spiral running down to the hem, like a horn. In her hand she holds a cloud-shaped bag, with its own horn and ears.
The fun of dressing up
Dressing up means becoming someone else for a while. The girl poses proudly, her big eyes sparkling, beside a little rainbow resting on two clouds. Everything in her outfit recalls the unicorn: the horn, the ears, the stars, right down to her shoes trimmed with bows.
A detailed page
At six, this page will please children who love details: the stars in the pigtails, the ruffles on the skirt, the little patterns on the bag, the stripes of the spiral. The tall format shows off the girl in the middle, with space around her. You can start with the big areas, the hair and the dress, before moving on to the patterns.
A rainbow outfit
The spiral on the dress lends itself to a gradient: a pink band, a purple band, a blue band, like a unicorn horn. The ruffles of the skirt can pick up the colors of the little rainbow. The cloud bag can stay white with pink hearts and yellow stars.
A word for the grown-up: make a unicorn headband together, with a rolled paper cone for the horn and two cardboard triangles for the ears, glued onto an old headband. The costume is ready in half an hour.
