A prancing unicorn

In the middle of a field of flowers, the little unicorn rises up on its hind legs, front legs raised, as if jumping for joy. Its curly mane and tail fly out behind it, and a flower is drawn on its hindquarters. It smiles, eyes wide open.

The windmill with four sails

On the left stands a windmill with a shingled roof and four big latticed sails. Its tower is decorated with flowers, its door with a heart, and a little fence runs around its base. In the sky, four rainbows rise above the hills, a big one in the middle and three smaller ones around it, among the clouds, the stars and two butterflies.

A page for six-year-olds

The lattice on the sails, the decorations on the tower and the many flowers in the field make a detailed page: it suits children six and up. Start with the unicorn and the big rainbow, then move on to the windmill. The flowers in front are big; the ones in the back, very small, can be colored in one stroke, or left white.

A colorful windmill

The windmill can keep the brown of wood, with red and blue flowers painted on its tower. The four rainbows keep their colors in the same order, from red to violet. The field mixes the yellow, pink and white of the flowers on a green background.

A word for the grown-up: make a paper pinwheel together. In a square of paper, cut four slits from the corners toward the center, without going all the way, then bring every other corner to the middle. A brass fastener attaches it to the end of a straw. At six, your child can do the cutting, then run or blow to make it spin.
