A shared ice cream

In a flowery meadow, a girl with pigtails holds out her ice cream cone to the unicorn. The ice cream is topped with a cherry, and the unicorn takes a lick, delighted. The girl smiles: she is happy to share. She wears a dress with a round collar and gathered cuffs, a pocket embroidered with a flower, socks and Mary Janes.

The joy of sharing

Sharing your ice cream isn’t easy when you’re little. The girl in the picture does it anyway, and the unicorn’s smile shows it was worth it. It is a nice way to bring up sharing with a child, without a lesson, just by looking at the scene.

Two characters face to face

The girl on the left and the unicorn on the right face each other, with the ice cream cone linking them in the middle. These are big shapes, easy to color at four. The unicorn’s flower crown and the meadow flowers all around offer smaller areas.

A flowery page

The meadow is full of flowers, leaves, butterflies and little hearts: they can be colored in every color. The ice cream deserves a strawberry pink, with a bright red cherry. The unicorn can stay white, with a rainbow mane and a brightly colored flower crown.

A word for the grown-up: at snack time, invite your child to split their snack in two, one half for them and one for a brother, a sister or a friend. Sharing is learned better by doing it than by hearing about it.
