The frisbee leap

The unicorn leaps above the sand, all four legs in the air, to catch a frisbee flying in front of it. It wears big glasses on its nose and a little star pendant around its neck. Its curly tail and its mane fly out behind it.

Summer at the beach

On the beach, a sandcastle topped with a flag stands next to a bucket and a shovel. A few seashells lie in the sand, and the sea rolls in with its waves. A big three-scoop ice cream cone, with a cherry, is planted in the sand. In the sky, the sun shines near two clouds, as a few seagulls fly by.

Clean shapes

The drawing has few spaces, all of them closed: at four, it is a relaxing page. The unicorn and the frisbee are big shapes. The ice cream cone, with its crisscross pattern, and the castle take a little more care.

Midsummer colors

The frisbee can be bright red or orange, so your eyes can follow it. The scoops of ice cream take three flavors, strawberry, vanilla and chocolate, and the cone a golden beige. The sand is pale yellow, the sea turquoise, and the glasses can have colored frames.

A word for the grown-up: with a soft frisbee, teach your child to catch it by clapping both hands on it, one on top and one underneath, as if making a sandwich. Start two steps apart, then step back one step after every good catch.
