The snowman, nearly done
Wearing a pom-pom hat and all bundled up in its scarf, the unicorn presses a snowball against its snowman to add the finishing touch. It smiles, proud of its work. A little star decorates its hip.
A well-dressed snowman
The snowman wears a hat, a striped scarf, buttons and a carrot nose, and holds out a twig arm. It is smiling too. Around them are fir trees decorated with ornaments, falling snowflakes and, at the bottom, two sprigs of holly with their berries.
Nice round snowballs
The snowman’s balls and the unicorn’s body are big round shapes, easy to color at four. The fir trees are more detailed, with their branches. The snowflakes are small and many: they can stay white.
White and colors
The snowman can stay white, with a pale blue shadow on one side to make it look nice and round. Its hat and scarf take bright colors, its nose orange. The unicorn’s hat can match its scarf.
A word for the grown-up: no snow? Make a snowman from a white sock filled with rice, closed with a rubber band, and a second band to make the head. Two buttons, a ribbon for the scarf, a felt nose: it stands on a shelf all winter long.
