A three-way hug
A kneeling mom holds her baby in her arms, her eyes closed in happiness. The curly-haired baby laughs out loud and reaches toward the unicorn, who snuggles up against them, eyes closed too. The unicorn wears a bell on its collar.
Love all around
The mom has a long ponytail and a sweater embroidered with a sprig of leaves. The baby wears a onesie with a little heart on it. All around them float hearts, stars, flowers and two clouds.
Three characters close together
Together, the three characters form one big shape, easy to color at four. You can start with the unicorn, the biggest, then the mom, then the baby in the middle. The hearts and flowers in the background are simple and closed.
Soft colors
The mom’s sweater can be pink or yellow, the baby’s onesie sky blue. The unicorn keeps a white coat with a pastel mane. The hearts take pink and red, and the bell gold.
A word for the grown-up: play back drawing: with your fingertip, slowly trace a heart, a star or a sun on your child’s back, and they guess the shape. Then it is their turn to draw on yours.
