In Mom’s arms
A mom with a bun, a star in her ear and a heart at her neck, cradles her newborn in her arms. She smiles, eyes closed, her cheeks pink with happiness.
Welcome, baby
The baby sleeps, swaddled in a blanket sprinkled with stars, a pom-pom hat on its head. Standing close by, the little unicorn gazes at the baby tenderly, with a star in its mane and another at the end of its pom-pom tail. A few flowers, a cloud, hearts and stars complete the scene.
Big shapes
The shapes are big and few, easy to color at four. Color the blanket in a single color, leaving the stars white or making them shine yellow.
Tender colors
The blanket can be sky blue, pale pink or yellow, with gold stars. The mom’s sweater takes a soft color, and the unicorn stays white, with a pink or lilac mane.
A word for the grown-up: with a tape measure, show your child how long they were at birth, about twenty inches, then measure them against a door frame. At four, they are almost twice as tall, and they can hardly believe it.
