A walk in the park
In the park, a mother walks briskly, her baby held close in a baby carrier decorated with stars. She wears a hoodie, jeans and sneakers, and her hair is tied in a ponytail with a bow. The baby, in a knit hat, smiles as it looks ahead.
The unicorn pushes the stroller
Standing on its hind legs, the unicorn pushes the stroller, a little bell at its neck. The stroller is full of toys: a teddy bear, a duck, blocks marked A, B and C, a little car, a striped ball and a rattle. In the basket underneath are another ball and more toys.
A park setting
The trees, bushes and path make up the setting, with falling leaves and butterflies. At four, the mother, the unicorn and the stroller are nice shapes to color. The toys in the stroller take more precision.
Toy colors
Each toy can have its own bright color: a yellow duck, a brown bear, red, blue and green blocks. The stroller takes a soft color, pink or sky blue. The trees get colored green, or orange and yellow for a park in the fall.
A word for the grown-up: before heading to the park, pack the outing bag together: a snack, some water, a ball. Your child picks just one toy to bring along: making a choice is already part of growing up.
