A jewelry collection
At the top of the page, letters to color spell out “Unicorn Jewelry Collection.” On the left, a long pearl necklace holds a pendant shaped like a unicorn’s head, its eyes closed and smiling, a bow between its ears.
Rainbows and stars
Next to it, a pair of rainbow earrings resting on clouds dangle little stars, and another pair is shaped like two big stars. Below, a second necklace holds a rainbow between two clouds, with a star in the middle. On the right, a charm bracelet gathers a moon, stars, a unicorn horn tied with a bow and a little cloud. Smiling clouds, hearts and stars float all around.
One piece at a time
Each piece of jewelry is a separate shape: at four, your child can color one a day. The unicorn-head pendant is the biggest shape. The beads on the necklaces are small: color them one by one, or alternate two colors.
Jeweler’s colors
The necklaces can be gold or silver, with pink and white beads. The rainbows keep their colors in order, from red to violet. The stars shine yellow, and the clouds stay white or sky blue.
A word for the grown-up: make a pasta necklace together. Macaroni or penne slide onto a shoelace, its end wrapped in tape so it threads easily. Your child can paint the pasta the day before, then choose the order of the colors while threading.
