A unicorn girl
This unicorn girl stands up straight and smiles at us, a few freckles on her cheeks. Her horn pokes out of a beret decorated with hearts, stars and a bow, and her long curls fall to her waist, dotted with little bows and hearts.
Bows everywhere
Her puff-sleeved dress has a big bow at the collar and another at the waist, each with a star in the middle. The ruffled skirt is covered in hearts and little stars. A star-shaped purse hangs from her shoulder, her fur-trimmed boots each have a bow, and her curly unicorn tail is dotted with stars and bows too.
Lots of little details
The face, the dress and the boots are nice shapes, easy to color at four. But the bows, hearts and stars are many and small: this is a page for children who love details. You can color the dress first, then the patterns one by one.
A matching outfit
The dress can be pink with paler ruffles, or lilac, with all the bows in one color that stands out. The beret and the boots pick up the color of the dress. The hair lends itself to a gradient, or to streaks of every color, like a real unicorn mane.
A word for the grown-up: teach your child to tie a bow with a wide ribbon, around a present or a stuffed animal’s neck: two loops, like two bunny ears, crossed over and pulled tight. It is the same move as shoelaces, only easier.
