Four friends by the castle
In the middle, a little princess with pigtails and a starry crown raises a magic wand and smiles. She wears a puff-sleeved dress with a heart on the bodice. Behind her stands a castle with three towers, each with its star flag.
A unicorn, a fairy and a mermaid
On the left, a unicorn with flowers in its mane stands in the grass, near mushrooms and flowers. At the top right, a little fairy with see-through wings flies with her wand. At the bottom right, a mermaid sits on a rock by the water, a seashell in her hair, next to a crab, starfish and seaweed.
One character at a time
The four characters are well apart from one another: at four, you can color one at a time. The princess and the unicorn are the biggest shapes. The mermaid’s scales and the fairy’s wings take a little more care.
An enchanted world
The princess’s dress can be pink, the mermaid’s tail turquoise, the fairy’s wings lilac. The castle takes stone gray or pink, with blue roofs. The unicorn keeps a white coat, with flowers of every color in its mane.
A word for the grown-up: put together a dress-up trunk with old clothes, scarves, hats and plastic jewelry. Depending on the day, your child becomes a princess, a fairy, a mermaid or a knight, and makes up the story that goes with it all on their own.
