A walk in the forest

A princess is walking in the forest with her unicorn. She holds a ribbon tied to the garland of flowers the unicorn wears around its neck. The princess is smiling, the unicorn too, and they walk along side by side.

A party dress

The princess wears a crown with a star on it, long wavy hair, a heart pendant and a puff-sleeved dress. A bow closes her waist, and more bows and little flowers decorate her ruffled skirt. Around them are tall trees, bushes, three mushrooms, flowers, tulips and four butterflies.

A forest to color

The trunks and the leaves are big areas, easy to color at four. The princess’s dress, with its bows and flowers, takes more attention. The flowers at the bottom of the page are simple and well separated.

Forest greens

The leaves can mix several greens, from the lightest to the darkest. The trunks take brown, the mushrooms red with white spots. The princess’s dress stands out better in a bright color, and the unicorn’s garland picks up the colors of the flowers.

A word for the grown-up: in the woods, build a fairy house with your child at the foot of a tree: twigs for the walls, a piece of bark for the roof, moss for the bed. Leave it there: another walker might find it.
