Saddle up!

A little princess rides her unicorn, laughing, her hands holding on to its mane. She wears a big crown with a star on it, a ponytail tied with a bow, a heart necklace and a little cape that flutters behind her.

Walking among the clouds

The unicorn walks along briskly, its head turned toward us, and smiles too. Three little clouds drift above them, and stars shine all around. Near the hooves, a few little flowers float in the air.

Nice round shapes

The unicorn is a big round shape, easy to color at four. The princess is smaller, with her crown, cape and dress to color each on their own. The stars and flowers are simple and well spaced.

A golden crown

The crown takes yellow or orange, like gold, and its star another color. The cape can be red or purple, the dress pink. The unicorn can have a blue or purple mane, and pink cheeks, like the princess.

A word for the grown-up: play “The princess says,” like “Simon says”: your child, with a crown on, gives orders — jump, spin, touch your nose — but you only obey if the sentence starts with “The princess says.” Then it is your turn.
