Sitting side by side
A princess sits in the grass, her legs tucked to one side, smiling with her eyes closed, looking happy. She wears a crown decorated with a heart and two stars, long wavy hair and a simple dress, tied with a bow at the waist.
A tiny companion
Next to her, a baby unicorn has sat down too. It has big shining eyes, freckles on its muzzle and a little curly mane. It looks at us and smiles. Around them there is only a star, a flower and a little cloud.
A very simple page
The drawing has few spaces, and they are big: at four, it is a relaxing page that can be finished without rushing. The princess’s dress and hair are the biggest areas. The baby unicorn gets colored in a few strokes.
Soft colors
The dress can be pink, lilac or sky blue, with its bow in another color. The crown takes yellow, its heart red. The baby unicorn keeps a pale coat, with a mane in a soft color, pink or turquoise.
A word for the grown-up: teach your child how to approach an animal they don’t know: first ask the owner, then gently hold out the back of their hand to be sniffed, and pet its back, never its head first.
