One more ornament
The little unicorn, a scarf around its neck, reaches out a hoof to hang an ornament on the tree. It smiles, pleased with its work, and watches the tree fill up with decorations.
A well-decorated tree
The tree is covered with ornaments, and a big star shines at the top. At its foot, three presents tied with ribbons wait in the snow. Big snowflakes fall all around.
Big areas
The page has just a few areas, all fairly big: at four, you can color it without rushing. The tree is a big shape, to fill with green. The ornaments and snowflakes get colored with the tip of the pencil.
Christmas colors
The tree takes a dark green, the star a golden yellow. The ornaments can be red, gold or blue, and the presents every color, with ribbons in another color. The unicorn’s scarf can be red, like the colors of Christmas.
A word for the grown-up: make ornaments for the tree. Cut circles out of cardboard for your child to color or decorate with stickers, then punch a hole and thread a ribbon through. At four, they choose the branch for each one themselves.
