Singing while coloring
Where “Il était une bergère” comes from, and how it is sung.
A shepherdess makes cheese from her sheep’s milk, and her cat watches “with a sly little look”. If he puts his paw in it, watch out! He doesn’t put his paw in… he puts his chin. The chorus, “et ron et ron, petit patapon”, is pure fun to say, and children love playing the cat, a hand sneaking toward the cheese.
