Singing while coloring
Where “Ainsi font, font, font” comes from, and how it is sung.
The puppet rhyme, one of the very first sung to toddlers. On “ainsi font, font, font” (“this is how they go”), raised hands twist at the wrists like little puppets; on “trois p’tits tours et puis s’en vont” (“three little turns and off they go”), they turn three times and vanish behind the back. It lasts less than a minute: slip it in between two colors, then start again.
