An evening with friends
At the edge of the woods, four friends have sat down in the grass for the evening: a princess with her crown on, a girl with a ponytail, a boy in a cap and the unicorn, laughing with its eyes closed. They all look up at the sky.
A smiling moon
Above the trees, a big, perfectly round full moon smiles down at them. Stars twinkle around it. It is the time for telling stories, before going to bed.
A big moon, little friends
The moon and the trees are big shapes, easy to color at four. The four friends are smaller, sitting side by side: you color them one after another. The stars get colored in a single stroke.
Evening colors
The moon can be pale yellow, with the sky around it midnight blue, so it shines. The trees take a dark green, almost black. The children’s clothes can keep bright colors, as if lit by the moon.
A word for the grown-up: one evening, turn off the light, shine a flashlight on a white wall and make shadow puppets with your hands: a rabbit, a bird, a wolf. Then your child invents their own, and the bedroom becomes a little theater.
