Everyone is clapping
Under a big stone arch, five friends clap with joy: a mom with shoulder-length hair, a princess with a crown, a girl with a ponytail, a little boy and the little unicorn, who raises its hooves in the air.
An arch to walk through
The arch is topped with a wide banner, still blank: you can write a word or a name on it. On each side, a few bushes peek out. Every face is laughing, eyes crinkled with joy.
Five characters
The characters stand close together: at four, color them one by one, starting with the ones in front. The arch is a big surface, easy to fill.
Party colors
The princess’s dress can be pink or sky blue, her crown gold. The arch takes a stone gray or a beige. The children’s clothes can take your child’s favorite colors, and the unicorn stays white.
A word for the grown-up: play “London Bridge Is Falling Down.” Two grown-ups hold hands, arms raised, to form an arch, and the children walk under it in a line while singing. On the last words, “my fair lady,” the arch comes down and catches whoever is passing through.
