A unicorn in space
The unicorn has put on its astronaut gear: a round helmet with its horn sticking out and an antenna topped with a star, a space suit with a star badge, a pocket marked with a moon, a belt with a buckle and big boots. Its mane and starry tail stream out behind it. It smiles, delighted to be floating.
Among the planets
All around it, space is full of things to see: a ringed planet, a striped planet, two asteroids dotted with craters, one of them smiling, shooting stars and trails of dust. At the bottom, a few pebbles are scattered over the ground of a small planet. The journey is only just beginning.
The tall format
The unicorn fills the middle of the page, with the planets all around it: each one is a big round shape, easy to color at four. The space suit, with its pocket, belt and badge, is more detailed. The little stars and dotted lines can be saved for last.
The colors of space
The background can stay white, or turn midnight blue all around, going around the stars. The ringed planet takes orange or purple, and the striped one alternates two colors. The space suit stays white or light gray, like a real one, with a colorful badge and pocket.
A word for the grown-up: before coloring, crouch down together and count down from ten to zero, then “Liftoff!”: a big jump, arms in the air. At four, counting backward is a real challenge, and the jump a nice reward.
