Autumn craft
The mushroom house with a door that opens
Color the house and the mouse, cut the door, then glue the two sheets together. Knock knock! Open the door: peekaboo, the little mouse is home!
The two sheets to print
The mushroom house and its door that opens, then the mouse hiding behind it, with the dots for the cap and four decorations to cut out.
Step by step
Ages 4+30 minutes
Supplies
- The two sheets, printed at actual size
- Colored pencils
- Round-tipped scissors
- A glue stick
Steps
- Color the whole cap red, dots included: the white dots are glued on later. Color the house, the door, the mouse and the decorations.
- Cut out the dots and the four decorations from the second sheet. An adult cuts the door of the house on three sides, not along the dotted line.
- Fold the door along the dotted line. Glue the white dots on the cap, then the chimney, the mailbox, the snail and the butterfly wherever you like.
- Put glue on the back of the house, everywhere except on the door, and lay it straight on the mouse sheet, frame on frame.
- Knock knock! Open the door: peekaboo, the little mouse is home!
Print both sheets without scaling: the mouse then sits right behind the door.
