Autumn craft
The family tree
A big autumn tree and twelve leaves to color. Write the name of someone you love on each leaf, then glue the whole family onto the branches.
The two sheets to print
The twelve leaves to cut out, then the big tree with its bare branches, waiting for the whole family.
Step by step
Ages 4+30 minutes
Supplies
- The two sheets, printed at actual size
- Colored pencils
- A black marker for the names
- Round-tipped scissors
- A glue stick
Steps
- Color the leaves in autumn colors, then the tree, the sun and the little snail.
- Cut out each leaf along its line. An adult helps with the thinnest edges.
- Write a name on each leaf: mom, dad, grandma, brothers and sisters, even the cat.
- Glue each leaf by its stem onto a branch, wherever you like.
- Write “Our family” on the little sign: the tree is ready to hang up!
Print both sheets without scaling: the leaves are then the right size for the branches.
